Mi Tierra Café has two private rooms for private parties. The Mural Dining Room can seat up to 200 guests. The Patio Dining Room can seat up to 50 guests. Upon availability, on good weather days, Mi Tierra Café can also cater cocktail parties outside at the Jardin for groups of 75-100 guests.

To guarantee privacy, a minimum of 150 guests is required for the Mural Dining Room. The Patio Dining Room requires a minimum of 40 guests. Should the count fall below the minimum, Mi Tierra Café reserves the right to assign other dining spaces.


Mi Tierra Café can cater off-premise functions at locations throughout San Antonio. We suggest the Southwest Craft Center, The Witte Museum, the McNay Museum or La Villita

Our reservation manager can also assist in planning your event by acquiring transportation for your group, enhancing your personal theme with fresh flower arrangements or by decorating for special themes.

Market Square is well known for the strolling troubadours, a century-old tradition. If you so desire, we will gladly arrange to hire the musicians for your entertainment and add the charges to your bill

• Trio - 3 guitarists
$150.00 per hour

• Mariachis - 8 to 10 members:
Guitarists, Violins, & Trumpets
$500.00 per hour

Additionally, Mi Tierra Café can arrange to hire a variety of other entertainment to suit any occasion, such as: Marimba Band, Pianist, a Harpist, Classical Guitarist, Folkloric Dancer or Caricaturist.

We provide fine china and silverware for all banquet reservations. Unless otherwise specified, Mi Tierra uses multi-colored "Fiesta-Ware" china. For formal dining such as:
• Wedding Receptions
• Baptisms
• Debuts
• Anniversaries

Festive colored linens and miniature pinatas as centerpieces.
We offer a beautiful line of white gothic-style china. Both lines offer tasteful elegance to any occasion.

A deposit of $5.00 per guest is required to reserve dining space.

Host must advise the Reservation Manager of the guaranteed attendance of the reservation by 3:00 pm, two days in advance. Host will be charged for the number of guests confirmed.

Due to potential lost bookings, this deposit is non-refundable.

All charges are due upon completion of service. Charges may be paid by Cash or credit card. We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club or Discover. Corporations or Public Organization can be billed upon authorization of credit application.

Mi Tierra Café does not accept personal checks for final payment.
